Why we publish agency comparisons
We build UK competition websites. So do other agencies. Every prospect asks a version of the same question in a first call: how do we compare to the alternative they are already considering.
Rather than answering that question ad hoc, we publish it. Each comparison uses the other agency’s own public claims (their website, brochure, and published pricing) alongside verifiable facts about how we work. No disparagement, no cherry-picked screenshots, no selective data.
How we compare fairly
Every comparison covers the same eight structural areas: pricing, what you own at the end of the build, payment gateway options, compliance approach, timeline to launch, post-launch support, team size, and public review footprint. We name the areas the competitor does something better, not just where we come out ahead. Readers can make their own call.
Published comparisons
Nera Marketing vs Zap Competitions
Zap Competitions is the longest-tenured UK competition website agency, active in the niche since 2009. Their sites are built on Zap’s proprietary Competition Suite plugins, with the integrated Zap Pay product routed exclusively through DNA Payments. Our comparison covers payment gateway choice, what you own at the end of the build, published pricing (£12,500 Growth and £15,000 Enterprise vs Nera from £2,995), RMG Licence inclusion, and post-launch marketing support.
Nera Marketing vs RaffleX
RaffleX is a closed-source SaaS competition platform that operators rent on a monthly subscription (£89 per month inc VAT plus £0.17 per order ex VAT on the DIY tier). Our comparison covers ownership, the cost of renting versus owning at scale over three years, payment gateway options, customisation, and post-launch marketing and growth partnership.
